Academic Improvement

I use a holistic approach to address the most common issues students face: poor study habits and memory, lack of time and energy management, low accomplishment and motivation levels , inability to prioritize and set achievable goals, lack of of confidence, the fear of success and test and exam anxiety.

Most of this work uses a blend of counselling, coaching, tutoring and mentoring. It also takes into account how the student fits into academic life, their peer associations and family relationships.Generally the process may take up to one quarter of the academic term to see results or sometimes results are seen immediately. This work also requires the assistance of the guardian or parents. Many times it will require the student to make specific adjustments to eating, sleeping and socialization patterns. In particular students will be required to limit and manage their use of electronics and computers media such as online games and social media; it may also involve developing an exercise and a study / homework program.
